The
Ramon Llull University is fully committed to the idea
of the internationalisation of the universities and
believes that greater international links increase
the quality of studies, research and students' perspectives.
Ever since
its foundation, the URL has taken part in this process
by participating in European mobility programmes such
as Socrates/Erasmus or Lingua, recognising studies
followed at foreign universities (European Credit
Transfer System, ECTS), company placements (Leonardo)
and cooperation with Eastern European countries (Tempus)
and Latin America (Alfa). It also participates in
the many research programmes that the European Union
has set up (BRITE-EURAM, ESPRIT ...) and is a member
of different international bodies and networks (CRE,
FUCE, RULE, AUSJAL, etc).
